Retirement Plans New Fee Disclosure Rules Free Webinar
A 2011 AARP study found that 71% of participants in an Employer Sponsored Retirement Plan thought they paid nothing to participate in their plan. Beginning later this summer section 508(b)(2) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act or ERISA goes into effect. Not only will Employers need to understand what they are being charged for their sponsored retirement plan but Plan Participants will need to be shown, as often as quarterly, exactly how much they pay for the plan itself and the investments in it.
