A genuine twist on recycling! Ever wonder what to do with the bits and pieces that end up in your junk drawer and dark corners of your house? These objects defy sorting, serve no purpose and might drive some of us crazy!

Well, now they have a calling! We will collect these bits and pieces to create a RECYCLED REPURPOSED COLLAGE at Wolff's Flea Market Palatine

PART 1: Kids and adults, present original drawings for the collage outline. Use your own paper or pick up a form at the Palatine information table. Free admission to the market with presentation of your design.

Customers and vendors will vote for the best one and transfer the winning outline to a 3' x 2' wooden project board.

Please include your name and contact information on your design

Winning entrant will receive a cool prize!

PART 2-THE COLLECTION Now collecting your bits and pieces to be incorporated into the final collage. Bring a small item and get free entry to Wolff's in January.

Guidelines-Please Read! 

 1. Objects must be smaller than a golf ball-approximately 2" x 2" x 1"

2. Objects may be metal, cardboard, plastic

3. Examples: broken costume jewelry, gears, buttons, keys, silverware (size ok), watch parts, wires, washers, nuts, bolts

4. Objects must be clean and safe for handling and gluing onto board: no sticky/toxic residue, nothing sharp or pointy, please be sensible, as kids will be working on this project

PART 3 - THE CREATION Once a design is decided upon, we will create a RECYCLED COLLAGE with all of the bits and pieces we have collected.
