DESCRIPTION:Palatine Park District presents the 25th Anniversary Season o
 f the Sounds of Summer Concert Series with an all-new lineup selected by
  our loyal audience. All performances are FREE\, so pack a picnic\, pull
  up a lawn chair\, and enjoy your summer evenings at the Fred P. Hall Am
 phitheater\, 262 E. Palatine Road. Performances begin at 8:00 pm and run
  approximately 90 minutes. In the event of inclement weather\, performan
 ces will be cancelled. Call our recorded message at 847-705-5123 x431 fo
 r weather related cancellations.Friday\, August 3\, Ronnie Rice\nRonnie 
 Rice picked up a guitar when he was 16 years old and hasn&rsquo\;t put i
 t down yet! He began his musical career as a solo performer in Evanston.
  In the late 1960&rsquo\;s\, Ron joined the Chicago-based group The New 
 Colony Six and sang lead vocals on many of their hit records including o
 ldies favorites I Will Always Think About You and Things I&rsquo\;d Like
  To Say.\nThis concert series has been made possible through the generou
