DESCRIPTION:Palatine Park District presents the second Friday Lunch Speci
 al of 2012 featuring Tropixplosion. Tropixplosion is a Caribbean show ba
 nd that features steel drums\, incredible percussion\, great vocals\, Bl
 ue Man-style performance pieces\, and more high-energy fun. In essence\,
  they present the ultimate island party. But much more than the standard
  steel drum band\, they play an amazing variety of music as well &ndash\
 ; not only your tropical favorites\, but many reggae classics and pop/ro
 ck party songs re-arranged to feel like the Islands. New hits\, classic 
 rockers\, and many other surprises are all performed with an exotic twis
 t during a Tropixplosion show.This free concert event will be held on Fr
 iday\, August 10 at noon at Towne Square\, 150 West Palatine Road\, Pala
 tine. The community is invited to bring chairs\, blankets and lunch to e
 njoy a tropical afternoon show.The mission of Palatine Park District is
