 SSEO Foundation 2013\nSPRING SHOWCASE OF ARTS AND CRAFTS\nSamuel Kirk Sc

 Weekend in March\nIf you are interested in applying for the 41st Spring 
 Showcase of Arts and Crafts\, please submit the application along with y
 our entry fee\, self-addressed\, stamped envelope\, and photographs (no 
 slides\, please)&nbsp\;of your work.\nPlease submit at least three photo
 s of your finished product\, one photo of your work-inprogress\,&nbsp\;a
 nd one photo of your display. Please provide a description\, including p
 rice range of items you&nbsp\;intend to sell. Because the jury bases its
  decisions primarily on the photos supplied\, quality photos are&nbsp\;e
 ssential. We will accept applications until February 15\, 2013.\nApplica
 tions are accepted and juried on a first come\, first served basis\, bas
 ed on the postmark. We limit the&nbsp\;number of exhibitors in any given
  category. If your category is already filled when juried\, or if you ar
 e not&nbsp\;selected for any other reason\, we will return your check an
 d photos promptly after jurying. If you are&nbsp\;accepted\, you will re
 ceive a notice of acceptance as soon as possible after jurying.&nbsp\;Yo
 ur space assignment and more information will be sent in February. Our l
 atest&nbsp\;entries will be selected and notified in February.\nShow Inf
 ormation:\n* 90 artists - Only original hand-crafted work is accepted. W
 e will not accept applications for&nbsp\;commercially made products\, im
 ported items or food. We reserve the right to ask an exhibitor to&nbsp\;
 remove items or leave the show entirely if this policy is violated.\n* S
 how fee is $75 per space\, plus a raffle item with a value of at least $
 20 per space. All raffle items&nbsp\;must be quality\, juried representa
 tions of your art or craft\, as they will be displayed throughout the&nb
 sp\;show\, along with your name and space number. If you cannot contribu
 te an appropriate item\, we&nbsp\;require a $20 donation per space\, ins
 tead.\n* Spaces are 5&rsquo\; deep by 10&rsquo\; long. A few are 4&rsquo
 \; deep by 12&rsquo\; long. Most spaces are in the&nbsp\;school hallways
 . Electricity is available in most spaces for a charge of $10 per space.
 \nSecure&nbsp\;storage for extra inventory is available at no charge.\nE
 xhibitors must provide their entire displays\,&nbsp\;including tables\, 
 chairs\, extension cords\, surge protectors\, and all table coverings.\n
 Setup begins&nbsp\;Friday evening at 6:30 pm.\n* We average 1\,600 custo
 mers attending our show. The show is publicized via newspapers\, radio&n
 bsp\;and television\, web sites\, flyers\, mailings and signs. Over 6\,0
 00 personal notices are mailed&nbsp\;to local residents.&nbsp\;\nThis sh
 ow is run entirely by volunteers for the benefit of the NSSEO Foundation
 \, Inc. &nbsp\;Previously\, the Spring Showcase of Arts and Crafts was p
 resented by the Alpha Gamma&nbsp\;Delta Sorority and the Kirk School Par
 ent-Teacher Group (PATHS.) This year\, The NSSEO&nbsp\;Foundation\, Inc.
  will take over leadership.\nHowever\, all proceeds will still benefit s
 tudents&nbsp\;with special needs including those served at Kirk School. 
 The Foundation supports&nbsp\;educational and therapeutic programs for s
 tudents with special needs at the Northwest&nbsp\;Suburban Special Educa
 tion Organization (NSSEO) NSSEO is a cooperative of eight&nbsp\;school d
 istricts working together to provide quality services for children with 
 a variety of&nbsp\;disabilities. Over the years\, over $338\,000 has bee
 n raised from this annual show for the&nbsp\;benefit of these students. 
 This money has been used for many necessary items\, including a&nbsp\;ha
 ndicapped accessible playground\, facilities for teaching daily living s
 kills\,&nbsp\;communication devices\, physical and occupational therapy 
 equipment and much more.\n&nbsp\;\nApplications by email preferred: &nbs
