Palatine Park District presents the annual Date Night special event on Thursday, February 7 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Birchwood Recreation Center, 435 W. Illinois Avenue, Palatine. The event for children ages 3 to 12, with a parent, includes dancing, food, and photos. Mothers and sons and dads and daughters are invited to wear red for this year’s Valentine’s theme. The fee is $13 per person for residents, and $20 per person for non-residents. Pre-registration is required.

More About Birchwood Recreation Center
Birchwood Recreation Center's outdoor facilities include baseball fields and softball fields, tennis courts, outdoor basketball courts, soccer and football fields and a picnic area. One of Birchwood's biggest attractions is its pool, which includes diving boards and a water slide.
Birchwood is 11.5 acres and has Palatine trail access. Various indoor programs and classes are offered in the facility's indoor gym. Birchwood also offers preschool.
