Arts in the Park will be held on July 21. This free summer event is planned by Northwest Special Recreation Association and the Palatine Park District. The entire family is invited to the Fred P. Hall Amphitheater and Community Park, 262 E. Palatine Road, Palatine, for a day of performing and visual arts from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, July 21.
Activities will include art projects and arts performances including guitarist Steven Vazquez who will be performing at 11am. He is a Chicago Artists International Program award recipient who has studied around the world. Also performing will be cast members from Fremont Street Theater's production of Anything Goes. They will perform at the Fred P. Hall Amphitheater as part of Arts in the Park from 11:45am to 12:15pm, and their full production will be held at Palatine Park District's Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center from August 10th to August 19th.

More About Community Park and Fred P. Hall Amphitheater
Community Park and the Fred P. Hall Amphitheater are located near downtown. The amphitheater is on the south side of the 15.3-acre park near Palatine Road. Wood Street borders the north side of the park.
The amphitheater is the site of concerts, movies and cultural events throughout the summer (see the park website for a schedule). Community Park also includes outdoor basketball courts, playgrounds, a skating park, sheltered picnic areas, baseball and softball fields, and football and soccer fields.
