The Countdown
We've made it this far with February upon us.
Very soon the crocus will peek-a-boo through the earth.
Soon after that, the tulips will glow along roadsides and in garden beds.
After a colorless winter,
It will be like a rainbow everywhere we look.
I wait for it every long winter.
Mother Nature rewards us for surviving another cold, snowy season by showing us her breathtaking flowers.
