Spreading Our Wings
As a new day dawns and we ring in the New,
We reflect on the last one and what we'll now do.
Like a butterfly, we survive both the highs and the lows,
What the New Year holds for us we simply can't know.
Let's spread our wings wide and keep love in our heart,
And do our best to not drift apart.
Cherish the sunshine and make time to take flight,
And try once again to make everything right.
