After working 4 years at a Naval Station fitness center I realized one very profound and sad fact. Most people think physical training is really complex! Movements like those found in Olympic Weightlifting are complex. Gymnastic progressions can get very complex. Nutrition can also be very complex especially if you have some kind of Autoimmune or medical condition. However physical training (CrossFit) is so unbelievably simply.
How many pull-ups do you have? You need more.
How heavy is your front squat and deadlift? It needs to go up.
Can you get a barbell that is your bodyweight over your head? You should.
Do you train hard & fast and take care of your body with mobility work? I hope so.
You see, sometimes the most important things are the giant elephants in the room that you obviously can see, but don’t want to address. True fitness (CrossFit) only comes through looking at those things square in the face and knocking down any barriers.
