Palatine Park District offers a basketball league for boys and girls in 1st and 2nd grades. The league will be held at Falcon Park Recreation Center from January 12 through March 16. The league emphasizes the fundamentals of basketball along with sportsmanship and teamwork in a fun league environment. Teams will have one practice each week; practices will be held from 5:30pm-6:30pm and from 6:30pm-7:30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Games will be played on Saturdays between 9am and 3pm.
There are three different league options: Boys 1st Grade League, Boys 2nd Grade League and Girls 1st/2nd Grade League. Registration is accepted by mail, online at www.palatineparks.org, or in person at Community Center, Birchwood, or Falcon Park.
