Palatine Panther Wrestling Now Accepting Registration

Under the leadership of Ralph Cortez, Fremd High School Wrestling Coach, the Palatine Panther Wrestling program provides children with the opportunity to learn more about this popular sport. The program is for ages 7 to 14 and will be held from October 31 through February 27 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm in the Fremd High School Wrestling Room, 1000 South Quentin Road, Palatine.

All levels from beginner to advanced are welcome to participate and will have the opportunity to compete in various weekend tournaments. Weekly practices will stress the fundamentals of the sport. Everyone will get the opportunity to wrestle during the season. Headgear, singlets, and t-shirts will be provided. There will be a parent meeting on the first night of practice, October 31. The fee for the program is $115 for residents, $173 for non-residents, and $140 for non-residents within Palatine or Fremd High School boundaries. The program also offers a $25 sibling discount for the second child.

For more information about the club, contact Panther Wrestling Club President Bill LaSchiava at 847-560-3239.
