Not Quite the Big Snow
Someday, we'll all learn, but my guess is the "media" plays to our fears (shocking I know) and sensationalizes anything that remotely could be a problem. We live in Chicago and while parts to the north and west got hit with some snow, the greater Chicago area got squat.
Wrigley found a "stick" in the little snow we did get here in Palatine, so he is happy anyhow.
