Charles M. Camel, Palatine resident and Korean War Army Veteran, passed away on November 7. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Muss. Loving father of Catherine (Donald) Abrahamian, Bob (Pam) Camel, James (Julie) Camel, David (Julie) Camel, Laura (Phil) Mundy, Christine (Greg) Horun, CJ (Ron) Kula and Sandra (Greg) Gruen. Cherished grandfather of Sara (Chris), Eric, Emma, Bob, Jake, Jaden, Justin, Olivia, Grace, Ashley, Austin, Kate (Jeff), Dan (Rachael), Vicky, Grant, Blake, Kierra, Joseph, Christopher, Andrew, Steven, Charlie, Rannin and Kasey. Dear brother of Marianne (the late George) Boyd and the late Dorothy (the late Eddie) Ziolkowski, Fred (the late Loretta) Camel and Gene (the late Lorrainne) Camel. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Friday, November 9, 2012, 3-9 pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Funeral Saturday, November 10, 2012, 8:30 am from the funeral home to Holy Family Church, 2515 W. Palatine Road, Inverness for Mass at 9 am. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
