Chicagoland is world-famous for its hot dogs. So where do you go in Palatine when you just gotta have one?
With temperatures soaring into the ’90s over the weekend, summer can’t be far behind.
And what says summer better than a plump, juicy hot dog on a bun, jam-packed with all the trimmings: from mustard to kraut, relish, onions, tomatoes and … well, you get the picture.
This week, we're asking readers to give us their pick for the best place in Palatine to get a great hot dog.

Best place for hotdogs is Gene and Judes in Franklin Park. All the places in Palatine are either over priced or serve a stale bun and dog.

Billy's Hot Dogs! Illinois and Plum Grove Road. Not only great hot dogs, but everything else there is awesome. The best soup around and fresh salads and daily specials that beat most restaurants :) And of course, great owners and workers.

Billy's is really good. I haven't had a bad experience there yet and I've been going a long time. The guys who work there are really nice, too, so that makes a difference!

Fratillo's in Rolling Meadows is the best near Palatine. If you're staying IN Palatine, it's gotta be Chiggy's.
