Rack House Kitchen & Tavern, a restaurant serving American-style cuisine with a "rustic smokehouse" flair, recently opened in Arlington Heights, according to the restaurant's website and Facebook page. 

The restaurant opened on March 5 at 222 E. Algonquin Road in Arlington Heights, according to the Rack House Facebook page. The business is open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.; Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.; and on Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 12 a.m.

The Daily Herald reports that Arlington Heights officials are hoping the restaurant opening, along with a new BP gas station and car wash expected to open next month at Arlington Heights and Algonquin roads, will draw more business to the southern portion of the village.
