Pirate Pete's Thanksgiving Feast At Palatine High School
Palatine High School will host its annual “Pirate Pete’s Thanksgiving Feast,” a community dinner event designed to raise awareness and funds for local organizations serving people in need.
Palatine High School will host its annual “Pirate Pete’s Thanksgiving Feast,” a community dinner event designed to raise awareness and funds for local organizations serving people in need, on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria (1111 N. Rohlwing Road in Palatine).
In past years, the event has raised over $7,000 for local charities, and PHS students have been able to fund the education of a student at Palatine High School’s sister school in Tanzania, The Kibaoni Primary School. Pirate Pete’s Feast is open to the public, and the $5 admission charge includes a spaghetti dinner, live music, and raffles throughout the evening.
