The Exercise Coach at 303 E. Northwest Highway in Palatine offers 4 complimentary coach guided sessions to all new clients. No commitment needed, just go in and try out their state of the art proprietary equipment. Twenty minutes, twice a week, that's it! You have to try it to believe it.

Love Buehler. Our family uses it quite a bit. The running track has just the right amount of give (we have 2 runners in our family, one with osteoatritis so the track is forgiving). They also have a large variety of exercise equipment and trained workers to show the proper use. The lap pool is great and always has some lanes open. When the kids were small we used the family pool quite a bit. Lots of open swim times.. There are also water aerobics classes that are free to members. Other classes are also free to members. A worthwhile invetstment, especially if you run or swim. Also, no pressure to wear spandex...come as you are in sweats if you want. So I don't feel self-conscious.

Palatine park district is by far the best. They offer so many different classes at so many different time slots that they really help you fulfill your fitness goals. In just 1 course I was able to loose 35 lbs and drop my blood sugar 100 pts.. The instructors are the best and make it fun. The cost is so reasonable ..

PPD Fitness Center is the best place to work out in Palatine, by far. I have been working out there for 4+ years. I really like the size of the gym, the simple layout of the treadmills, elliptical machines, bikes & free-weights. You can't go wrong with the price! REALLY!! There isn't an overwhelming amount of equipment squeezed into the space. There is just enough, which I appreciate. The space is ALWAYS clean & smelling fresh. There are BIG windows that allow sunlight to fill the room. The walls are painted a calming color. I like the fact that there are sanitizing wipes & spray to be used after each use of the equipment... which everyone uses! I watch : ) Cleanliness is a big factor for me when choosing a gym. There are more than enough TV's on to watch, w/headphone plug-ins, therefore the gym is QUIET! :) If there isn't a program on you like, just ask! The staff is more than willing to change the channel for you & kind enough to ask if you're watching the tv to be changed. I also like that there is a separate room to stretch or work on the exercise balls. The room has a wall that is mirrored. When you're done working out, just walk out of the door onto the walking/running track and get a few laps in before heading home. I love that. The PPD Fitness Center is simple, clean, and the cost of a membership can't be beat! The staff are so friendly, helpful and joyful. They always seem to remember you too, which builds a great little family feeling. Love PPD Fitness Center!

I have to agree that Palatine Park District gym is by far the best. It is always nice and clean and so are all the equipments, that is key for me .The staff are always helpful and friendly , the equipments are space so that you are not touching the next person beside you and you have the luxury of whatching television while you exercise and the price suites my budget just fine.
