Pick-Up Driver At Fault: District 15 Bus Accident
Ignacio Gonzalez-Perez, 35, of Palatine was cited for failure to yield while turning and other offenses after hitting a D15 school bus Tuesday.
The driver of a pick-up truck involved in an accident Tuesday with a District 15 school bus was at fault, according to the Daily Herald.
Ignacio Gonzalez-Perez, 35, of the 1500 block of Winslowe Drive, according to the Daily Herald, was cited for failure to yield while turning, driving without a valid driver's license and not having insurance. His court date is January 2.
Gonzalez-Perez hit the school bus at North Frontage Road and Bayside Drive Tuesday just before 4:30 p.m.
Three students were taken to nearby hospitals, in addition to Gonzalez-Perez.
All of the injuries were non-life threatening.
