Fresh off of their big win against the Schauburg Saxons November 3, the Palatine High School Pirates football team is headed to Wilmette this Saturday to battle the Loyola Academy Ramblers in the Class 8A Playoffs quarterfinals.
Ironically, this is the first time since 2010 the Pirates have made it this far, and the Ramblers were the very team that knocked Palatine out of the state playoffs just two years ago.
The PHS Pirates are 10-1 going into the game against the Ramblers in the Class 8A playoffs.

If they win on Saturday, Palatine will play at home against the winner of Maine South and Glenbard North.
