I hope people read this: That Citgo on Palatine Rd where that idiot drove off without paying is a total ripoff. Every time I drive by and look at the prices, they are 20-30 cents more than every gas station in the area. The Mobil down the street on Dundee and Quentin is far cheaper and the people who work there are pretty nice. I wish people would stop buying gas at that Citgo because they take the price gouging to a level that is unreasonable and yet, people are always there! Don't waste your money there! There are cheaper options pretty much anywhere else in the NW suburbs!!

There is no good reason to support that business. The prices are horrific and the staff is rude.

Archrival - that is so true! Why anyone would go to that station when they can save 20-40 cents/gallon by going anywhere else in town amazes me.

Speaking of gas prices, did you know that on Patch we have a tab that shows where the cheapest gas is in the area? http://palatine.patch.com/commute (Sorry to put in a plug, but it really is helpful.)

I so agree with everyone, that gas station is a menace to Palatine with its high prices and rude cashiers. Some day I'm going to stand on the corner with a bullhorn and yell out to people who pull into there that they are stupid for patronizing that gas station!
