Palatine Cruise Nights To Return
Palatine Cruise Night will feature 200 to 300 classic cars.
Palatine Cruise Nights are returning to 1775 N. Rand Rd. every Friday beginning April 27.
The weekly classic car show will be in the old Menard's parking lot. Zach Steffens who owns the Culver's at 1765 N. Rand Rd. will be organizing the show. Last year was the first year Palatine hosted the event.
"After running it last year we've gone through our bumps and bruises and this year should be much smoother," Steffens said.
Steffens said he is hiring a company to assist in running the car shows.
"Last year we had a faction of the Rolling Meadows Cruisers and I just wasn't happy with the way things were run and maintained," Steffens said. "Last year they were for free, this year I'm paying out some money to have it run a little bit better, a little bit smoother and hire more people for parking and such."
The event should have about 200 to 300 classic cars. The car shows will be on Friday evenings beginning April 27 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
