It looks to be official: A clean sweep by the "Doing Things Better for Palatine Township" slate in the Palatine Township Trustee primary.

The "Doing Things Better for Palatine Township" – Art Goes, Bill Pohlman, Bill, Huley and Kevin McGrane – has led all night. The only candidate in shouting distance right now appears to be Debbie McGuire and there are only 6 precincts outstanding.

Art Goes is the top vote getter and his slate – the "Doing Things Better for Palatine Township" is leading. The top four vote getters move on to the April general election.

The "Doing Things Better for Palatine Township" slate looks to be on its way to a potential sweep. If their lead holds, they will have all four Republican nominees for the April election.

Aaron Del Mar, Palatine Township Republican Organization chairman says Doing Things Better for Palatine Township is the slate recognized by the organization.
Trustee candidates Chris Adrian, Vince Farina, John Mathias and Debbie McGuire are part of a group of candidates named the Republican Township Team.
A third group of trustee candidates are running as a slate as well and includes: Jason Hillebrand, Kevin O'Connel and Julie Ann Johnson.
