Obituary: Sylvia G. Sprague of Lake Barrington Shores
Sprague was a long-time Lake Barrington Shores resident, and practiced law in Palatine and Chicago before her retirement.
Sylvia G. Sprague, 82, a longtime resident of Lake Barrington Shores was born on January 1, 1931 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary (nee: Kucera) Wirth. She passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 8.
Sylvia graduated from DePaul University with a degree in law and went on to practice as an attorney in the Palatine and Chicago area until the time of her retirement.
Sylvia is the beloved aunt of William and Julie Wirth and Robert and Wendy Wirth; cherished great aunt of Jason, Jessica, Lauren and the late Bethany; dear sister of the late Irving Robert Wirth; fond sister in law of Katherine M. Wirth.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 14th from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Interment will be private.
