Marion L. Larios (nee Melchionda), 72, Palatine resident for many years was born Sept. 20, 1940 in Chicago and passed away Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 at Northwest Community Hospital.  

Marion will be dearly missed by her family, whom she loved. She was there for everybody and was the family matriarch. She loved her computer and going to the casino.   

Marion was survived by Bill Diaz; children Margie (Rick) Jones, Nancy (John Lopez) Larios, Peter and Jamie Larios, Billy (Lynsey) Diaz; daughter-in-law Britta Larios; grandchildren Matthew & Alex Jones, Danny (Stacey), Desiree, Taylor and Jake Larios, Madison Diaz; great grandchildren Jordan Alexis Larios; loving sister to Jude LaFrancis and Michael Rosanova; aunt of Anne LaFrancis and Nicole (Jon) Juhl; great aunt of Rylan and Raegan Juhl.  

She was preceded in death by her former husband  Arthur J. Larios, son Dan Larios, father Daniel Melchionda, mother Margaret Rosanova, brother Frank Rosanova.  

Visitation for Marion will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 7 at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL.  

Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. on Friday going to St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 1201 E. Anderson Dr., Palatine for Mass at 10 a.m.  Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
