Frank L. Grzes, 69, of Palatine since 1969, was born June 6, 1943 in Chicago, and he passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Survivors include his wife, Marcella Grzes (nee Kemnetz); daughters, Amy Lynn (Keith) Soos, Cynthia (Roger) Jones and  Michelle Carvajal; grandchildren, Vanessa and  Daisy Soos,  Olivia Jones and  Javier Carvajal; brother, Herman (late: Diane) Grzes; and sister, Linda (Dale) Collier.

Frank was preceded in death by his, parents, Sarah (nee Powalish) and Frank S. Grzes.

Prayers for Frank will be said Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL 60067.  The funeral mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N. Benton St., Palatine, IL 60067.

The visitation will be held Friday, March 22nd, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
