1. Family Night at Buehler Y

Where / When: Buehler Y, 1400 W. Northwest Hwy., Palatine; 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m., Friday, June 3.

Why Go?: Go for a swim, check out the playmaze, compete on the basketball court and climbing wall. All families are welcome to attend family night.

Pricing: Free for members; $20 per family for non-members

 

2. And the World Goes 'Round

Where / When: Cutting Hall, 150 E. Wood St., Palatine; 8 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 3 p.m., Sunday, June 5.

Why Go?: See the stunning musical revue of songs by John Kander and Fred Ebb, creators of the musicals Chicago and Cabaret.

Pricing: $ 17 for all ages in advance; $19 for all ages at the door

 

3. Saturday Night Karaoke

Where / WhenThe Lamplighter Inn; 10 p.m.  - 3 a.m.; Saturday, June 4.

Why Go?: Great night of Karaoke with great food and drinks. Outdoor seating area open. Must be 21 or older to attend.

Pricing: Free admission

 

4. Palatine Farmers Market

Where / When: Palatine Metra Train Station, 542 Colfax St., Palatine;  7 a.m. - 1 p.m.; Saturday, June 4.

Why Go?: Visit the twenty-seven vendors who will be selling their farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, organic meats and eggs, cheeses, spices, olives, pickles and much more.

Pricing: Free admission 

 

5. Rubber

Where / When: Durty Nellie's, 180 N. Smith St., Palatine; doors open at 9:30 p.m., show starts at 10 p.m.

Why Go? Listen to Rubber perform covers from the 1990s through current alternative selections.

Pricing: $6 cover
