DeKalb Man Arrested for the Murder, Rape of Toni Keller
William Curl, 34, arrested by federal marshalls in Louisiana on charges of murder, sexual assualt and arson.
A 34-year-old DeKalb man has been charged with the murder, sexual assault and burning 0f Antinette "Toni" Keller of Plainfield.
William "Billy" Curl was arrested by U.S. marshals in Covington, La., Tuesday on DeKalb County charges of obstruction of justice and unlawful conversion of a motor vehicle. He waived extradition and now is being held in the DeKalb County Jail.
Curl did not know Keller, an 18-year-old Northern Illinois University freshman, and police described the attack as a "crime of opportunity."
