Services have been scheduled for Carlos Ramon Murguia, Jr. 60, of Palatine.
Visitation for Carlos Ramon Murguia, Jr. 60, of Palatine will be held on Sunday, Sept. 16at 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home in Palatine, 201 N. Northwest Highway and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11 a.m.
The funeral Mass for Carlos Ramon Murguia, Jr. will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 17 at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church located at 1201 E. Anderson Drive in Palatine. Interment will be private.
Carlos loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, siblings and his St. Thomas of Villanova Parish Family. He was a faith-filled parishioner who served as Sacristan, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, on the Marriage Encounter Team and as chairperson of the Parish Pastoral Council. He also was co-chair of the STV50 Committee.
Beloved husband of 27 years of Jane St. Pierre-Murguia; loving father of Alena (Patrick Uphues) Murguia and Dustin Murguia; cherished grandfather of Patrick R., Connor and Matthew Uphues; dear brother of Carmen Murguia, Christina (James) Arnieri, Cesar (Silvia), Conrad (Carol) and Victor (Alicia) Murguia; also survived by many nieces and nephews
In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated in memory of Carlos for St. Thomas of Villanova STV50 Capital Campaign, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine, IL 60074 or ALS Les Turner Foundation, 5550 W. Touhy Avenue, Suite 302, Skokie, IL 60077-3254.
