Carol Reagan elected as Chair of National Office

Senior Center Director elected to National Office at Conference in Washington, D.C.

Carol Reagan, Executive Director of the Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council (PTSCC), which operates the Palatine Township Senior Center and the Caring Hearts Adult Day Care, was installed as Chair of the National Council on Aging’s National Institute of Senior Centers (NCOA/NISC) at the “Aging in America” Conference March 28, 2012 in Washington, D.C.  NCOA/NISC is an organization of professionals dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults through the strengthening of senior centers’ programs and services, advocacy and promotion
of national standards.  Reagan has served NISC for the past ten years as Chair-Elect, Treasurer and as the Delegate from Illinois.  She has been the Executive Director of PTSCC for thirteen years.  PTSCC operates one of only six senior centers accredited by NCOA/NISC in
